Chef Pat began playing with her food at an early age, and after a decade of teaching and education administration, she realized that she spent more time on her meal plans than her lesson plans. So, she switched gears.
After graduating at the the top of her class from culinary school, she went on to found What's for Dinner Personal Chef Service, one of the earliest personal chef businesses in Madison. In 2012, she founded Local Thyme to help CSA members get their produce onto their plates. In addition to developing recipes for CSA farms, Pat has helped fund raise for the FairShare CSA coalition by developing and testing recipes for their 2 cookbooks "Asparagus to Zucchini" and "Farm Fresh and Fast." She has also developed recipes for Willy Street Coop, Fresh Fields Philadelphia, Whole Foods, Blue Almond, Herr Snack foods and others.
Chef Pat also teaches cooking classes for kids and adults in their homes, using the equipment they cook with every day, as well as teaches team building cooking parties.
